Debating
After the chatting in the
House of Parliament
I got to thinking a lot about politics
and how we could live in unity with our
European colleagues
And why our own politicians
seem to want to spend
more time trying to
score points
over each
other
rather than
working with others
or letting 'the people' decide
by holding a referendum
(which would be a waste of time)
And why they were all
(nearly all)
a bunch of weasels
Then, a couple of moments later
I got on with something more interesting
which was watching the American Democrats
slating each other
and they were on the same side
so I realised we weren't so bad.
