Yesterday
In the mist and cold and rain and wind
I had the best
fish and chips
ever
on Cromer Pier
proceeded by a pint of Adnams
and then a concert in the Church
which is a huge church
Cathedral like.
That was a good end to a bad day
when Norwich tumbled towards
the relegation zone
oh brother!
to coin a phrase.
Tomorrow should be an interesting day
at work
where I shall meet my new boss
who starts
not sure what he's going to start
but starts he does.

At long last I can share in your appreciation of some class food! I can almost taste those Fish and Chips! Yummy. F&C is always best on the Norfolk coast; My best ever F&Cs were on Lowestoft front. I'm sure the Norfolk cold has got something to do with it.

So you visited a post-medieval, up-and-coming-merchant-class, wool-trade-financed 'Cathedral' - quite a few in Norfolk/Suffolk: Lavenham, North Walsham, etc. It's the old keeping up with the joneses phenomenon: "Our Church is bigger than your church!". NCBC can say that to a lot of people! But not to Mt Zion when they have built their airport terminal.
