Was the weather this weekend.
Which meant a trip to the coast
which meant a walk on the sand
which meant a paddle in the sea.
Hard to beat Holkham
hard to beat coffee at the Wells Deli
hard to beat Whin Hill cider.
Yeah to be fair there was mist
rolling in from the North Sea
so it was freezing cold
and couldn't actually see the sea
kids were crabbing and the place smelt of raw bacon and bad fish
car parks were full
feet got blisters.
Yeah just kidding
the two things meld together
bit like
"did e're such love and sorrow meet"
into a fantastic day.
