Seal Trip
A few snaps from a little trip to the beach
yesterday
where the sun and seals
were in tip top form
probably last pictures of the year
and last blog entry too.
Maybe I'll do some more next year......

I'll look after you

I thnk I've got sand in my eye

Follow me

Christmas Tree
belonging to me
in the house
which isn't
as quiet as a mouse
It's noisy and loud
but I'm very proud
because of the wii
that was under said tree.

So much 'appened today, that I'm just gonna 'ave to go an' list 'em all

I saw a Golden Compass - or was it a Northern Light - at the pictures.
Enjoyed it.
I moved to my new desk in my new office next to my new team.
Funnily enough, I also moved out of my old desk - and was pretty sad, but needs must.
I broke up for Christmas.
I remembered to buy sellotape.
I had a tiny little tear - but we wont go there.
I started feeding 'my' cats with senior food.
I'm still on young mans food.
I started the 'special Christmas cheese'.

Blow, blow, thou winter wind,
Thou art not so unkind
As man's ingratitude;
Thy tooth is not so keen,
Because thou art not seen,
Although thy breath be rude.
Heigh ho, sing heigh ho, unto the green holly;
most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly:
Then, heigh ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly.

Freeze, freeze, thou bitter sky,
That dost not bite so nigh
As benefits forgot:
Though thou the waters warp,
Thy sting is not so sharp
As friend remember'd not.
Heigh ho, sing heigh ho, unto the green holly:
most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly:
Then, heigh ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly.

Ice Trail
in the City
today
lots of ice
made into these
well I haven't shown them all
they were good
and melting only a little
and amongst
millions
of Sunday shoppers
preceded by a pizza
which I didn't pay for
because they
made the
wrong one.

Carols
After 9 successive
years
of School Carol Services
at the cathedral
in Norwich
we have got to an end
of an era
and no longer
will I have to go
and sing
and listen
and smile
and you know what
I'll miss it
and will remember it always
and no doubt
will which I could get
those 9 years
back

Red Red Wine

today was cold so I'm guessing that means that all the little and nasty bugs flying around the atmosphere will be keeling over and none of us will get any more colds or flu the bbc website said today that washing your christmas turkey before cooking it sprays germs around the kitchen that can last for a few days so you're better off not washing the bird unless of course your kitchen is really cold and then I reckon it will be fine the other problem with a warm kitchen splashed with turkey bugs is that the white wine warms up too quick so it has to be kept in the fridge the solution is to stick to red wine which of course is so much better anyway and the alcohol will probably kill any remaining bugs

Christmas meal

Christmas dinner number one
tonight at Ha Ha's
sausage and mash with gravy

I guess I should have gone out
and had the full works
but you know it tasted great

What's more, on this occasion
no crackers were had
no silly, small paper hat

I did have a fantastic
meal at the weekend
from Japan, hence the Haiku

Up the football league we go
Well done city
4 wins out of 5
best record in the league over the past 5 games
who said we were going down?

On to more interesting matters
How on earth can some one live in a house
for three years
unknown to you children, friends and other relatives.
My kids sniff me out
in about 5 minutes flat.
And why would you get your
photo put on a company brochure
if you are in hiding.
Madness.

Oh, and I went into the
city again today, on a Saturday morning
and it was great
I take it all back.
I think it was the Sally Army band
that did it for me.

As time goes by
Today went by really quick
The same day
Two weeks ago
Went on forever.
Why is that ?
Even the best bits
(like hot choccy)
went quick.
Is it something to do with the fact
That I've morphed
into a mad marketing maverick
Maybe!
Or
Is it quantum physics
go queer
for Christmas?

This little piggy went to market

Well, to be fair
these ones arrived
but were rejected
by the Christmas Market
in Norwich this week
Which I too
rejected
after just a few minutes
because it was
poor.

Is this a common feature
with Christmas fairs
a load of junk
and rejected wooden pigs.
I did manage to queue for 20 minutes in Costa
to get an equally rubbish cup of coffee
And guess what
because things come in threes
I commented on how busy
it was on a Saturday morning
before Christmas
in the city
and that we'd have been better off
sweeping the leaves in the garden.

I almost ended up on the pile of pigs.

The Clock
On Surrey Street
Norwich
Tells me
I'm at work
Or rather
I'm meeting someone
for coffee
or lunch
or a drink.
Unfortunately
it can't keep me dry
when it's raining
and I'm waiting
Nor can it hurry me up
when I'm late.
But if I forget where I am
or who I work for
it's fantastic.
