I almost
wrote about Norwich's Stunning Comeback
or my Stunning Birthday Party
or the Stunning Sunshine this Lunchtime
But
instead
I was thinking about appraisals at work this week.
and wondered if I (or my boss) could could get any of these in:

Since my last report, this employee has reached rock bottom and has started to dig. I would not allow this employee to breed. This employee is really not so much of a has-been, but more of a definite won't be.Works well when under constant supervision and cornered like a rat in a trap. He sets low personal standards an then consistently fails to achieve them. This employee should go far, and the sooner he starts, the better. A photographic memory but with the lens cover glued on. If you give him a penny for his thoughts, you'd get change. The wheel is turning, but the hamster is dead.

Comments:
Hope you had a good birthday!!

Do the people who work for you get to comment on your performance?!

I'm sure they'd only have good to say ;)

anyone can say whatever they like about my performance - which speaks for itself !

"Steve is an energetic and committed member of the team. He thinks a lot and gives good eye contact. His positive energy is refreshing and transmits to all. It is obvious however when things are tough and that spark dims but due to Steve's tenacity, he carries on regardless. Points to work on include taking care of himself as the number resource that he has, pacing himself better through times of heavy workload and maybe even saying no to projects. Well done Steve!"
